A London Borough is currently looking for a Receptionist with a CRB for a temporary contract.

 

Key responsibilities are as follows

 

To provide an efficient, professional and responsive reception service ensuring that customers, council staff and other visitors are efficiently recorded, assisted and referred to the services/officers they need to see. 

Welcoming people to the building Issuing security passes

Answer telephone call and take verbal and telephone/messages Accept and sign for deliveries Sorting through and distributing post

Directing visitors to other offices

Providing visitors with information/leaflets/directions

Managing appointments/diaries Database input General administration (filing, faxing, photocopying) 

 

Essential Experience

 

Must have worked as a  frontline receptionist before

Must have a current CRB

Previous experience of working in a council is desirable

Able to use Word & Excel
