A London Borough is currently looking for a Finance Admin Officer with a current CRB to work on an ongoing temporary basis.

 

Key responsibilites

To provide comprehensive management and statistical information as required.

To be responsible for the local cash handling, petty cash imprest returns and requests for cash advances and to be responsible for the processing of staff expenses claims through payroll.

To assist with the reconciliation of invoices and dealing with enquires relating to CeDar, ebuy and other financial transactions.

To order stationery, goods and services, through ebuy in compliance with Corporate and Audit practices and procedures

To deal appropriately with enquiries from suppliers and carers regarding payments and liaising with Finance and Credit Control Units and Central Invoicing Team

To record attendance information of staff and provide managers with reports as required.

To assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence as required

To provide telephone and administrative cover for absent colleagues

 

Essential Requirements

 

Must have worked in a similar environment in an admin/finance capacity

Must have a current CRB

Good on Word & Excel

The role will be based in Camden half the week and the other half in Kentish Town
