Leading private sector company working within the Social Housing sector requires an Income Manager to work within the income management team delivering a customer focussed, pro-active service that uses early intervention techniques to reduce the high level arrears and actively manage former tenant debts to improve on collection of these debts

Responsibilities:

Take preventative action. Meet all requests made by Revenues and Benefits timescales.
In accordance with policies, procedures and timescales contact tenant and Revenues and Benefits. Update internal IT system and challenge/appeal decision if warranted.
Prepare letters to tenants. Call tenants. Visit tenants.
Refer to internal or external advice agencies if required. Follow escalation process through to legal process if required.
Check amount outstanding on internal IT systems. Accept rent from tenant as per policies and procedures.

Be an experienced user of MS packages including Outlook, Word and Excel
Full driving licence and access to a car is essential
