Account Manager
Strong/relevant experience in product branding and brand communications with knowledge of either the tobacco or drinks industry
Single point of contact for the client
Disseminate client communication to relevant team members
Build effective relationships with key client contacts via proactive communication
Generate week to week resource plans
Help improve the quality of the work by monitoring progress against the agreed brief and raising key concerns
Creation of briefs, workplans, budgets, reconciliations and timings.
Solution provider to ensure a smooth running of the project
Create project budgets, cost spreadsheets and estimates
Monitor fee and cost spend against estimate on weekly basis; chase accounts department for copies of invoices, couriers etc. Advise billing status to finance department at weekly billings meeting and support debt collection efforts
Open ongoing job/stage numbers
Help to ensure attendance of full teams at all meetings; prepare the room & bring all necessary paperwork to the meeting
Take notes in any meetings attended; ensure contact report is written and distributed to team within 24hrs of meeting
Check client received contact report and is satisfied with content
Brief design/digital studio of any ad hoc client requests i.e. bmps, pdfs, cd’s ISDNs etc of work
Chase clients for technical information, products, requirement etc
To proactively contribute to team and client meetings
To clearly communicate adequate project approach to client – budgets and timing etc
Negotiate third party costs on behalf of the client
Ensure the creative output is delivered on brief, on time and on budget
