Professional Membership body in Central London is recruiting for a Benefits and Services Manager to join their head office

Supporting the Membership Development Manager to achieve an increase in the take up and retention of professional membership by the delivery of a co-ordinated, properly planned and integrated online (and offline as appropriate) benefits and services strategy and events programme.
Identifying and exploiting both internal and external business opportunities to help inform innovative and creative recommendations
Managing, developing and reporting on the existing and new range of membership benefits, services and events ensuring the benefits package remains very attractive, relevant and engaging
Draft and implement creative and innovative strategies and project plans for the development of the membership benefits and services provision in consultation with the Membership Development Manager.
Responsible for developing and maintaining a co-ordinated, structured and innovative approach to the extension and on-going development of the membership benefits and services and event package.
Identify and exploit opportunities create new products and services and to enhance current products and services through for example, e-learning opportunities and assessing the potential of existing offline materials for on-line delivery working with other Divisions as appropriate.
Develop, take ownership and manage/contribute to the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects in order to contribute to the achievement of business objectives.
Proactively research tools and services available from other professional bodies and elsewhere that could enhance services and events
Responsible for maintaining a co-ordinated, structured and creative approach to the management of the membership benefits and services portfolio.
Manage the relationship with external providers of membership benefits and services including regular performance reviews and contract management initiating recommendations for change as appropriate.
Liaise with the other Membership Managers to develop and lead a coordinated approach to planning the content of the event programme across all elements of the membership service
To contribute to the development of customer relationship management systems to understand the key motivators for members and non-members engaging with benefits and services and events and consider the scope for the segmentation of provision accordingly.
Contribute to the monitoring and on-going review of benefits and services and events in order to assess their effectiveness in supporting members and their engagement in consultation with the management team by delivering practical operational solutions informed by creative thinking, innovation and deployment of appropriate resources.
Demonstrate a confident, positive and motivational management presence within the team, wider organisation and among key stakeholders internally and externally to increase awareness of, participation in and commitment to services online and offline.
Proactively contribute informed high quality content to integrated services and events related publicity and promotional materials online and offline including the website, publications, email campaigns, direct mailings and social media adhering to brand guidelines.
Attend Events during the day or evening as and when required and communicate effectively with members and other stakeholders as appropriate.
Give effective and professional presentations on issues relating to the organisations policy and supporting benefits and services as and when required.
Assist as appropriate in the preparation of Board papers and attend as required.
Responsible for monitoring the relevant areas under the management accounts.
Contribute to budget setting where appropriate and ensure that all activities are cost effective and within budget.
