Professional Membership body based in central London is recruiting for a Senior E-learning Manager

Circa £50k

Leading the development of high quality e-learning products and services which increase market share and profitability
Establish solid key performance indicators for e-learning in the organisation
Managing the E-learning development resource to ensure agreed deliverables are met
Leading an on-going product review and improvement process for all E-learning products and services
Lead the development of a long term e-learning strategy for key audiences
Direct the development and maintenance of E-learning resources for students, tutors and members, in line with appropriate educational, commercial and technical criteria
Identify suitable development approaches (in-house or third party) for a range of projects
Manage and develop the team of external subject matter experts and establish quality
Assurance processes to ensure e-learning products meet expected standards of accuracy
Establish instructional design best practice for all e-learning products and ensure that subject matter experts and external suppliers comply with this guidance 
Establish robust and efficient processes to support timely and cost-effective development and maintenance of e-learning courses and formative online assessments.
To manage the e-learning development work by planning, reviewing, co-ordinating and monitoring developments
Recruit and establish an e-learning team/resource in line with strategy
Effectively lead and develop e-learning development staff to deliver objectives
Matrix manage a range of internal staff and external subject matter experts and consultants
Ensure effective collaboration between members of the e-learning development team and other teams / divisions
Keep up to date with technological changes which may affect policy decisions for the projects under development, advise relevant staff and lead/co-ordinate response where appropriate
Effectively manage the e-learning budget, and to contribute to the creation of the annual budget
Negotiate effectively with e-learning suppliers to ensure robust and efficient procurement of third party services
Prepare and present papers concerning e-learning development work, so that relevant Boards and Council are kept informed of progress
Anticipate, identify and manage risks on an on-going basis in relation to the e-learning development process
