Professional Membership organisation recruiting for an in-house Junior Designer to join their team in London!

10 Month contract

Ensure design and artwork work is produced, within production deadlines, for a wide range of literature, merchandise, and online activity under the direction of the Design Manager, and in consultation with the Brand Communications team, external designers and the key stakeholders on each project.
Prepare finished artwork for print, proof read and approve printer's proofs.
Design and produce artwork to an excellent standard, using the main Adobe CS5 suite of applications, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.
To prepare print-ready finished artwork and to supply printers with print-ready hi-res PDFs.
To adhere to Brand guidelines.
Ensure design knowledge and skills are kept up to date.
Ensure that artwork procedures and checklists are adhered to.
Contribute to the Brand Communications work schedule, as managed by the Marketing and Production Executive.
You will need to work on Apple Mac.
Assist with organising and art directing photo shoots, liaising with photographers and stakeholders.
Assist with updating the Library of Images and Case Studies with new case studies and images, as well as edited images used in marketing communications.

You will have designed from concept through to finished artwork for publications, leaflets, emails, and other communication materials
Have worked with Adobe CS4/5 suite of applications including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
Worked with designers to ensure other (visual) content is brand compliant 
Experience of working within a wider marketing team or process
Demonstrate knowledge and experience of designing graphic communication materials for print, emails and web
Display understanding of principles of graphic design and practical knowledge of their application
Knowledge of the principles of marketing
Knowledge and practical experience Adobe CS4/5 suite of applications, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
