 Leading membership organisation in the finance industry requires an Engagement Coordinator to assist in increasing the retention and progression of student and affiliate members.


To support the Engagement Manager in the development and operational management of the delivery of a range of dedicated online and offline resources to support and develop student and affiliate members throughout their membership journey, to encourage progression and retention amongst these member groups.

To assist the Engagement Manager sourcing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for online and offline student service related activities ensuring timely despatch of contracts and to work with other teams to maintain an up to date database of SMEs.

To coordinate the collection of materials from SMEs for use in events, web content and e-learning and check the suitability and accuracy of such material.

To liaise with the Membership Communications function to promote the online and off line benefits and services portfolio with particular reference to supporting students during their studies and affiliates in their progression to full membership.

Evaluating statistical reports to identify emerging trends in relation to the work that the Membership Engagement function is responsible for.

Maintenance and development of programme of student support activities, and to work closely with the Events team in the associated planning and, where appropriate, delivery.

To monitor trends, provide statistics and participate in regular reviews of the benefits and services programme to assess its effectiveness in supporting student and affiliate members and their engagement.

To assist in the preparation of board papers, where appropriate, gathering statistical information, analysing trends and behaviour as a result of engagement activity.

Be the content reviewer of relevant areas of the website aimed at engagement with students and affiliates, ensuring that information is accurate, user-friendly and up to date.

Market research and profiling activities to support development of our benefits and support services portfolio.

To attend relevant events as required to provide support and answer general queries and/or ensure that the Events team has the necessary brief.

To liaise with the Communication team to ensure that all student and affiliate support activities are promoted through the appropriated channels accurately and timely.

Experience and skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills, questioning and listening, and negotiating skills.

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to proof read.

Ability to deal with internal and external customers, suppliers and stakeholders

Experience of managing relationships and providing exceptional customer service.

Knowledge of marketing concepts and commercial awareness

Some research experience would be advantageous
