A Highly regarded and progressive Professional Membership Body is recruiting for a Qualifications Development Manager to join the team in London.

 

£45,000 + Superb benefits

 

You will have a strong understanding of Education Funding Teaching and learning / training Project management theory and techniques.

Be able to excel at managing and coordinating numerous qualifications development projects effectively

You will also have experience with managing, coordinating and motivating a diverse project team

 

 

Project managing agreed development activities to successfully develop and introduce new qualifications.

Work closely with relevant Divisional leads to construct business cases to support development proposals, and progress through the approvals process.

Ensure, through effective communication and negotiation, that new qualifications are supported by relevant stakeholders (internal and external) and accredited by regulators where appropriate.

Project manage the process of qualifications development including planning, management and execution of activities, ensuring delivery of projects to time and budget.

Update and revise qualifications when required or as appropriate.

Prepare and submit qualifications for accreditation to regulators as required.

Manage the integration of new qualifications, after the development and initial implementation stage.

Work with the Marketing team to ensure that an appropriate marketing /communications strategy is established and implemented to manage a smooth integration and ensure that marketing opportunities are identified and maximised.

 

You will be the organisations expert on all funding related matters (e.g. Apprenticeships, schools funding, FE & HE funding.

Recommend changes to existing and new qualifications to ensure its meets funding opportunities.

Anticipate changes to funding and communicate the implications of changes across the organisation.

Develop effective working relationships with funding agencies, Sector Skills Councils and Government departments.

Communicate the funding landscape and changes to funding across the organisation, highlighting opportunities and threats and suggesting actions.

Manage funding related queries from training providers.

Maintain a pro-active and re-active funding dialogue with training providers, identifying issues and potential solutions
