Recruiting for an Office Services Manager to join the team.

 

Contract - 6 months

 

Circa £35k pro rata

 

You will be customer centric, professional, positive, friendly and engaging.

You will be responsible for the day to day smooth running of the office services. From projects, contracts for services, refurbs and essentially ensuring the working environment is right!

 

Manage contracts for courier services, archiving, stationary, internal horticulture and other contracts as and when necessary.

Organise and coordinate office operations and procedures to support the organisations work.

Resolve service complaints within area of responsibility and use authority to achieve a high level of customer service.

Responsible for day to day Health and Safety issues (including induction training and lone worker devices) and security. Attends the Health and Safety Committee.

Liaise on day to day provision of office services with contractors and the building

manager/landlord’s agents (e.g. cleaning, washrooms, temperatures, recycling bins, etc.)

Monitor the Facilities budget through day to day monitoring of spend and checking of all invoices, as well as assisting the Head of HR with budget setting and forecasting.

Maintain office services by organising office operations and procedures; including managing the internal postal service, reviewing and approving office supply requisitions, stationary ordering.

Responsible for ensuring a clean, smart, professional office environment including the kitchens, taking remedial action where required.

Manages and develops the Central Services team to deliver a service to excellent operational standards.

Supports the Head of HR to deliver facilities projects such as moves, refurbishment, improvements, redesking, within time and budgetary constraints.

Assists the Head of HR in developing and implementing policies and guidance to take account of best practice in sustainability, diversity and legislative requirements, including environmental issues.

Provides archiving support by liaising with the archiving company, defining procedures for scanning, archiving and secure disposal of records.

Along with the Head of HR, leads and ensures compliance with office workplace Health and Safety for the organisation, including works station assessments, fire safety review, storage, etc.
