Exceptionally well respected and progressive housing organisation in Central London is recruiting for an HR Adviser to join the team.

 

21 hours per week.

 

Up to £32,316

 

 

 

We’re looking for a commercially minded HR Adviser who can deliver a proactive generalist service to a varied, complex business group. Working with our care, housing and business improvement groups, you’ll be offering complete generalist support for a patch of around 100 staff.

 

Coach, educate and support managers on HR policies, procedures

Manage recruitment campaigns, including creating recruitment packs, writing recruitment adverts and updating all information on the Recruitment Management System and other websites and working with external partners to ensure effective and efficient advertising of all vacancies.

Provide advice to recruiting managers about appropriate assessments and quality check shortlisting/assessment results to ensure consistency and compliance with internal and external controls ‘seeking support as appropriate from the Talent and Resourcing Adviser and Lead.

Advise and support managers and staff with day to day employee relations matters including disciplinary, capability, grievance, performance management, bullying and harassment and probation issues, ensuring policies are followed and risks managed.

Attend disciplinary and other types of hearings to provide advice and guidance to the panel as required. 

Liaise with the Senior ER and Change Adviser and Lead as appropriate.

Proactively manage short term and long term sickness and ill health capability issues, liaising closely with managers at all times.

Make referrals to occupational health as required and provide support to managers to ensure any GP and OH recommendations are followed up appropriately.
