Progressive and forward thinking Housing Association in Central London is recruiting for a Web and Digital Editor to join the team.


Duration 3rd July – 29th September




Experience/skills required:


·       Managing website and intranet content for similar types of organisations, including planning/implementing sitemaps around user needs, document management, and optimising for search.

·       Training and managing sub-editors, including ensuring content standards/quality.

·       Experience of launching new websites/intranets and/or new features would be useful.

·       Quick to learn different content management systems and third party tools, experience of Google Analytics and image-editing software.

·       You will need to be able to multi-task and be flexible, while also having the discipline to deliver a project that has milestones, deadlines, etc.


Manage content and projects across the website, intranet, digital and social media channels in line with corporate and Communications objectives, brand and accessibility/usability standards.

Train and manage the network of intranet sub-editors and subject matter experts, ensuring the best use is made of digital platforms and standards are adhered to.

Work closely with the Web and Digital Manager to implement web and digital plans and strategies for the organisation.

One of the big projects that the Web and Digital Editor will work on is to plan and implement the migration of policies, procedures and other documents from an old system to the new

intranet which launched in 2016, working with the Web and Digital team, our policy team and groups of staff users. 

Technical: Support and manage digital and development projects as required, ensuring functionality is fit-for-purpose and user-friendly. This may include researching and testing new features on the intranet and new tools.

Monitor and analyse use of digital channels, reporting and taking action to continuously improve the performance of content.
